Competition Rules
All entries must be submitted between 15th October and 11th December 2007.
Five participants will be notified as to whether they have been selected to attend the Oxford Health Alliance summit in Sydney by 14th December 2007.
Entrants are required to complete the following three easy steps:
- Fill out a registration at www.fit-city.org and submit up to three of the following in any combination: photo, video clip, artwork, short descriptive text or an audio clip, on what you consider to be interesting demonstrations of a healthy (or unhealthy) urban space, along with a brief comment explaining your submission.
- Submit a statement (maximum 200 words) on the Sydney Challenge (statement can be filled out on Fit City registration page).
- Create a profile on www.3four50.com (you can create a profile when you register with Fit City) - please refer a) to your interest in the field of health and/or design, b) what you are currently doing eg. study/work, c) one important factor you think should be considered in making an urban space more healthy.
Entries will be judged equally on all of the above criteria.
The five winners will be invited to participate in the Oxford Health Alliance Summit, Sydney, 25-27 February 2008 where they will deliver a joint presentation demonstrating what young people consider to be important factors in creating a healthy city.
The competition is open to everyone throughout the world and entrants should be aged between 18 and 27.
