Do I have to be registered to participate?

You can read, watch or listen to anything without registering but if you want to post a comment, add files, showcase your work etc..., you will have to register. We do this as a deterrent to those who might wish to spam. By registering you gain access to all the site's features, including discussions, groups and a vast network of contacts across the globe. You can use your profile to take part in discussions, receive updates from groups you're interested in, send private messages and add photographs and videos to the network.

So I have to join groups?

No, you can simply browse all of our all-access content on across the website.  However by joining groups you can take part in discussions, collaborate with the rest of the website's members and send private messages.

How do I add a video?

Click on the Videos option on the top menu bar, and this will bring you to the video section. From here you can click the Add option located on the right of grey horizontal bar. A pop-up box will appear. Simply follow the instructions it gives you, choose a category for the video and click Link Video. If you are unsure which category the video should go into, just choose General.

How do I add a photograph?

Click on the Photos option on the top menu bar, and this will bring you to the photo section. From here you can click the Upload Photos option located on the right of grey horizontal bar. From here you can create multiple albums and upload as many as 500 photographs (100 at any one time). Simply follow the instructions on-screen.

I have a link / showcase I would like featured on 3four50. How can I get it online?

Great, we take all submissions and endeavour to feature as many as we can in either the links section, or our showcase area. Simple send any files or details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll get back to you.

I have found an image, video or comment I think is inappropriate. How can I report it?

Most of the site's interactive elements have a Report button for this purpose If you cannot see one, simple email the link to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll sort it out.

You can join and participate in groups easily. Before you can post on the group wall or create a discussion, you will first need to become a member of the group. Click the "Join Now" to join your group.

To manage Group that you joined, go to Application --> Group.

Here, you can view the current groups, search a group as well as view groups that you have joined. You can also create a newgroup.

What Are Announcements?

Announcements are important pieces of information that will be highlighted above all discussions in a group, group members are unable to reply to announcements.

What Are Discussions?

Discussion lists all discussions anyone posts in the groups. Discussions support replies from group members.

How Do I Post A Discussion?

Once you have logged in and are viewing a group, you can create a new discussion be clicking on "Create Discussion" in the grey box along the right hand side of the page.

When you create a discussion, all members of the group will receive an email to notify them

How Do I Reply To A Discussion?

When reading a discussion, you can add a comment to the bottom of the discussion, all members of the group will receive an email to notify them of your response.

I Received An Email With A New Discussion, How Do I Reply To It?

In the email there will be a red box called "post reply", click on this box and it will take you directly to the discussion, this also goes for discussion replies. If you aren't logged in, you will be asked to do so.

Why Must I Log In To View Discussions?>

This is a security measure to ensure that private discussions within groups cannot be read by the public. Only members of the individual group can read discussions and/or replies. If you do not want to log in each time, simply click the "remember me" button when logging in next time.

How Do I Add A Photo To The Group?

There are two ways of adding a photograph to a group.

1) When viewing a group, on the right hand column there is a section called "Photo Albums". Within this you will find "Upload photos". Follow the on screen prompts to upload.

2) When creating a discussion you can upload an image by selecting the image icon from the toolbar which is the second to right icon, once you select this a window will pop up. Select the upload icon from the top right hand corner followed by the "browse" button. Now select your photographs from your computer and press upload. Your images should now be in a list on the left hand column, select the image you want and click on insert. 

How Do I Add A Video To The Group?

When viewing a group, on the right hand column there is a section called "Videos". Within this you will find "Add". You may post a link to a youtube video or any other source which is listed within this section. Please follow the on screen prompts to upload a video.

When creating a discussion, simply click the farthest to the right icon on the toolbar.once you select this a window will pop up. Select the upload icon from the top right hand corner followed by the "browse" button. Now select your files from your computer and press upload. Your files should now be in a list on the left hand column, select the file you want and click on insert.
